"I've done business with Dean Squires for more than 25 years.  During that time he has handled more than 75 assorted projects for me, so I feel qualified to comment on his competence and ethics.

There are several reasons I prefer to do business with him.  He is very skilled at rejuvenating old finishes and, when there is no other alternative to refinishing, coloring and finishing wood in such a way that it maintains the character and depth of an old, original finish.  He also does a remarkable job of repairing, matching and replacing old veneers.  And, when I've had furniture that required the repair or replacement of feet, moldings and inlays, his work has been virtually indistinguishable from the original.

Prior to undertaking a project, Dean always explains what's involved in doing the work and gives me an estimate and an approximate timeframe for completion.  In addition, he does an excellent job of consulting with me during the course of a project to make sure that the end result accurately reflects what I'm looking for and what I'm willing to spend.

Overall, I admire Dean's craftsmanship, respect his integrity, and recommend him to others without hesitation.
